Happenings - 1966 US Impulse label 11-track Stereo LP

1966 US Impulse label 8-track stereo LP - a collaboration between jazz pianist Hank Jones and composer/arranger Oliver Nelson - recorded in 1966 for the Impulse! label.


Vinyl has the orange company labels which has black and white rimprint with integrated orange and white company names/black exclamation marks interrupted by white boxes with black exclamation marks. Vinyl has lower label ABC Records text and machine stamped matrix information: AS9132 A/B and 'Bell Sound'| Handetched LW - stressing that metal plating was done at the Long Wear plating plant, mastering by New York based recording/mastering studio Bell Sound Studios.

Vinyl is held in an era specific company add inner sleeve and ultimately in a sturdy inner pasted and outer laminated gatefold picture cover.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyls and Labels)/VG+(+) (Cover):
Vinyl still retains its original supreme lustre - shiny and with barely any signs of handling or play - eextremely close to mint. Labels are perfect.
Cover has just marginal signs of handling - a couple of spine wrinkles from milder bends - an upper spine corner dent only visible on back, a touch of rubbing to lower right spine corner... a little area of loose laminate along mid back opening - ortherwise mint - a very nice copy.
