Memorial Vol 1 - Original 1956 Period label 15-track LP

Rare original 1956 US period label 15-track LP featuring Reinhardt recorded with The Quintet at the Hot Club in Paris, between 1945 and 1951.

Vinyl has the generic maroon and silver printed company labels with 'Micro groove', 'Unbreakable', 'Long Playing' and '33 1/3 RPM' rimtext - held in a front paste picture cover.

Condition: VG+(+) (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+(+) (Cover):

Vinyl is superlustrous and has a couple of fine and light marks which by far does not affect the play or sound - otherwise only a faint degree of sleeve wear. Labels has a light degree of spindlewear scattered around centrehole - vinyl is overall graded close to near perfect/excellent.

Front cover is extremely close to mint - a single little upper left corner crease and almost no wear - otherwise clean. Back has a handwritten remark 'No!' and a couple of underlinings - otherwise wonderfully clean.
Upper and lower seams are intact and straight - spine has areas of pressure points - and mid-area may, may not have been repaired - nice done is so. Spine is straight and easily readable, corners has almost no wear - a marginal upper opening dent - very nice. Overall a close to near perfect/excellent cover and a very decent copy - hard to find in such nice condition.
