Farewell to the World Live: 10th Anniversary Edition -

Out of print 1996 European PArlophone/EMI label Region 2 PAl 2-disc DVD set featuring sophisticated, melodic Australian pop combos final concert at the Sydney Opera House - Sunday, November 24, 1996 - in front of more than 100,000 fans as a benefit for the Sydney Children's Hospital Fund. The concert was originally aired back then short of 5 songs - and subsequently released on VHS - the 10Years Anniversary 2DVD set features the entire concert including the 5 songs originally left out - all in remastered audio and adaptation to 5.1 stereo surround, anamorphic 16:9 ratio widescreen display... with a free choice of audio commentary with Finn, Seymour and Mark Hart.

Disc 2 comprises the documentaries 'PlanningThe Event', 'Day They Brought The House Down' featuring interviews with Finn and Nick Seymour, Michael Chugg, the event coordinator and many other participants - and the Channel 7 programme 'Witness' featuring a 13 minute interview with Neil Finn - also including photo galleries, and a full discography listing of the band up to 1999 - 3 additional demos - "Spirit of the Stairs", "Italian Plastic" and "Instinct" - illuminates the 'Photo Galleries' and 'Credits' sections.

Discs are mounted in a clear keep case including picture insert printed on both sides - autographed by all four members on front keep case. A few autographed copies of the DVD was supplied to distributions throughout Europe - this exact copy was bought from a company employee by whom the DVD was stored since its release.
