Set of 4 rare original 1958 Danish Debut label 2-track 7" Singles - featuring Bud Powell's magnificent piano trio set with Charlie Mingus on bass and drummer Max Roach alongside trumpetist Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker on alto saxophone - the concert at Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada on May 15, 1953 is legendary - 'Charlie Parker performed on a plastic alto, pinist Bud Powell was stone drunk from the opening bell, and Dizzy Gillespie kept popping offstage to check on the status of the first Rocky Marciano-Jersey Joe Walcott heavyweight championship bout.' *

The 3rd and 4rth volume features the tracks Cherokee and Lullaby Of Birdland not included on the 1959 Jazz At Massey Hall LP.

Vinyl has the generic matt finish blue and bright silver printed company labels with upper company logo - 7" Singles are held in fully laminated picture covers - manufactured from a one-piece card stock with upper and lower extension flips glued on top of back cover.

Volume 1: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Cover):
Superlustrous vinyl which has almost no sleeve wear - otherwise perfect. Labels has a single barely noticeable, small and very light spindletrace.
Cover is in amazing condition - clear and bright colours - straight perfect seams, corners has an almost near non-existent degree of corners denting... really next to nothing - otherwise mint... impossible to find in this condition. Near mint vinyl, labels and cover.

Volume 2: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Cover)
Superlustrous vinyl which has a single or two superlight marks combined with faint sleeve wear - otherwise perfect. Labels has a single light spindletrace.
Cover is in superb - clear and bright colours - straight perfect seams, a single superficial laminate-only crease and a touch of dents to a couple of corners is all - otherwise mint... impossible to find in this condition. Close to near mint/excellent vinyl - near mint labels and cover.

Volume 3: VG+(+) (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Cover)
Superlustrous vinyl which has some degree of light sleeve wear - from the friction between the vinyl and sleeve - nothing needle induced - vinyl is overall graded excellent. Labels has a single barely noticeable, small and very light spindletrace.
Cover is in amazing condition - clear and bright colours - straight perfect seams, sharp corners except opening corners which has a barely noticeable dent - otherwise mint... hard to find in this condition. Cover is graded near mint.

Volume 4: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Cover)
Superlustrous vinyl which has a very light degree of sleeve wear - otherwise perfect. Labels has a single barely noticeable, small and very light spindletrace.
Cover is in amazing condition - clear and bright colours - straight perfect seams, Sharp corners - has a very small area of rubbing to upper part of lower extension flip - otherwise mint... hard to find in this condition. Near mint vinyl, labels and cover.
