Led Zeppelin IV - Original 1971 US Atlantic Label Promotional Issue 8-track LP

Very rare 1971 US Atlantic Records 8-track white label promotional issue LP.

Vinyl has the generic white and black printed company promotional labels with upper boxed integrated 'A', 'fan' and company name logo - just above band member logos and centre hole. Labels clearly states 'Sample Copy Not For Sale'.

Vinyl has hand etched matrix information:
Side 1: ST-A-712285-E ATL-GP PR PORKY
Side 2: ST-A-712286-E PECKO DUCK ATLGP PR
- stressing that this copy is a first pressing, mastered by George Piros at Atlantic and manufactured by Presswell Company, Ancora, New Jersey, USA.

Vinyl is housed in a lyric inner sleeve and ultimately in a tracklisting-stickered gatefold picture sleeve.

Condition: VG+(+) (Vinyl)/VG++ (labels)/VG+(+) (Inner Sleeve)/VG+ (Cover)/VG+ (Sticker):
Vinyl is superlustrous and has a couple of light and inaudible surface lines combined with faint sleeve wear - vinyl itself is graded close to near perfect/excellent. Labels has from a single to a couple of not so light but only slightly scattered and hardly visible spindlemarks - easily graded near perfect. Vinyl is overall graded close to near perfect/excellent.

Inner sleeve has a couple of upper right corner bends and a 3,5" mid-side split - graded VG+.

Cover has almost no edge wrinkling, barely any creasing. Front corner has a mild upper right corner bend - back a touch of ringwear. Inner spread is extremely close to perfect.
Seams are solid and has just a little, discontinued seam wear - spine is extremely close to perfect. Corners are very nice and has only very marginal wear or dents - back has a mid-opening dent inflicting deeper wrinkling and a 1 cm rip - hence the VG+ grading.

Sticker has light wear and creasing - a barely visible scribble - graded straight VG+ - very hard to find a stickered copy though, let alone a promotional one... and in a very decent condition.
