Solar Plexus - Original 1972Swedish Odeon - EMI label 2LP Set

Rare original 1972 Swedish Odeon - EMI 14-track 2LP set from legendary Swedish Jazz Rock Band featuring George "Jojje" Wadenius (of later Blood Sweat & Tears fame) on guitar and vocals.

Vinyl has the black labels with silver box Odeon logo at top and one white boxed EMI logo at bottom - housed in company add inner sleeves and outer laminated picture cover

'The music is a mixture of instrumental jazz fusion (the opening "Bouillabaise" and later "Frygisk Samba" being as fine a couple of examples of lazy, funky fusion jams you could ever wish for - excellent...), with a dash of funky prog-rock ("Wallenburg") thrown in for good measure. Add to this the crazy, remarkable third side of the album, a 25-minute live opus entitled "Concerto Grosso For Popgrupp Och Symphoniorkester" during the course of which you get a head full of mellow jazz madness twinned with quiet orchestral interludes and some beaty, organ-driven head-nodding moments.'

Condition: VG+ (Record 1 Vinyl and Labels)/VG+(+) (Record 2 Vinyl and Labels)/VG+ (Cover):
Both vinyls are bright and lustrous. Side 1 & 2 have a couple of lighter marks combined with faint sleeve wear - side 3 & 4 have sleeve Wear only.

All labels are perfect and vinyls are graded VG+ and close to near perfect/excellent respectively.

Cover has a very light degree of edge wrinkling - a thin stripe of laminate lift along front and back spine.

Inner spread is nice with very minor rubbing and a small area of rubberstamped ownerdata on lower panel 2

Seams are neatly near mint - straight and with only a few point or spots of rubbing - corners has from almost no through just a little to slightly more manifest corners rubbing - all in all a series of very minor imperfections adding up to a close to a VG+ grading.
