Rare 1971 UK BBC Transcription Service promotional issue radio Show LP.

The radio show is hosted by BBC Radio 1 DJ,, Alan Black, and features live recordings with Scotland's boogie and psychedelia-laced rock & roll combo, String Driven Thing, on one side and Mick Abrahams jazz-blues-progressive rock band, Blodwyn Pig, on the other.

Vinyl has generic white BBC Transcription Service labels with green and black printing and upper boxed company logo.

Vinyl is housed in a generic yellow and polylined BBC Transcription Service cover with olive printing - complete with cue sheets.

The BBC transcription discs are high-quality live-recordings intended for radio broadcast only and are made in a very limited quantity normally not exceeding 100 copies.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++(Cue Sheets)/VG++ (Cover):

Vinyl is in straight close to perfect condition - Side 1 being perfect and Side 2 near perfect with a single inaudible line stretching across the otherwise shiny perfect surface - perfect labels.

Generic printed BBC cover has the slightest wear and handwrittemn data on back side- straight near perfect. Cue sheets only displays very marginal signs of handling and age and are equally near perfect.
