2009 Japanese Warner Music exclusive limited edition 12-track digitally remastered SHM-CD album comprising Prince's full album originally released in 1986.

The 2009 SHM series artwork is an exact miniature reproduction of the original vinyl issue along with a couple of Japanese features:
disc is graphically designed to look like the original Paisley Park/Warner Bros album vinyl picture label.
Disc is housed in a clear plastic inner sleeve and replica of the original illustrated credits inner sleeve and is accompagnied by a 20-page booklet with lyrics in English/Japanese.
Everything housed in a mini LP-style card picture cover with an OBi strip - and ultimately in a resealable Japanese sleeve with circular front sticker.

SHM CDs are fully compatible with and plays on all standard CD players.
SHM-CD stand for Super High Material CD and is a format featuring enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastica allowing improved transparency on the data side of the disc and thus a more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head.
