Bob Dylan - UK 1967/8 Vinyl Issue

Scarce UK CBS label 13-track vinyl LP pressing of Bob Dylans 1962 debut album produced by John hammond - manufactured by the Oriole/CBS pressing plant between autumn 1967/february 1968.

Rigid vinyl has:

1. uneven smooth finish labels which has the black printing and centered boxed camera eye logo,

2. the thin 32 mm pressing ring, catalogue number has S BPG prefix and labels has 33 1/3 speed denotation - publishing text as P1962.

3. Vinyl has machine stamped matrix info:

Side 1: SBPG62022A
Side 2: SBPG62022B

and is housed in a plain white die cut inner sleeve with 'Patent Applied For' print and finally in an Ernest J. Day & Co front laminated two-piece picture cover with extension flaps from both front and back cover glued inside.

Cover has a lower back 'CBS is a trademark...' text and 'CBS stereo' text box and hexagonal gold sticker on upper right back with black printed stereo text.

Condition: VG++ (vinyl & labels)/VG++ (sleeve):

Vinyl: Close to perfect, VG++:
Vinyl is supershiny and has just a touch of sleeve wear - very close to perfect, absurdly lustrous.

Labels: Near perfect, VG++:
Labels has a barely visible and light degree of spindlemarks - barely any and very light when so. This album looks barely listened to and labels are extremely close to near perfect.

Cover: Near perfect, VG++:
Cover has simply barely any wear - a touch of sleeve wrinkling from upper and lower spine - a little discolouration along opening - a barely noticeable to upper left front cover - all marginal flaws easily inducing a near perfect front cover grading.
Back cover has barely any wear - some light sticker tears in the entirely white uppermost left corner area - a little discolouration along spine - otherwise perfect.
Seamsare inatct and without shelling - spine is clear and readable. Sharp corners - this is a beautiful copy.
