Very rare authentic 1990 Danish SBK Records/ EMI Music Denmark Gold LP award presented to the SBK label to commemorate sales in Denmark in excess of 40.000 copies.

Award displays a golden plated 'Wilson Phillips' vinyl LP mounted above a Danish flag to the left, a golden plate with black engraving in the middle, and a miniature replica of the cover artwork to the right - everything mounted directly on black felt background.

The dedication plague states 'Awarden to EMI Denmark - For the sale of 40.000 units of - Wilson Phillips - EMI Denmark'

The golden metal-framed award measures 35,5 x 42,5 cm.

This award does not have a manufacturers tag on lower back. It was however bought with a large lot of awards directly from EMI Music Denmark and is as such genuine and will be accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity from EMI Denmark.

Condition: M- (Content)/VG++ (Frame):
Discs, cover artwork, plague, background and manufacturers tag are in perfect condition - frame has a couple of scuffs from storage and is graded close to perfect.

This award is an unusually heavy and fragile item - special shipping applies.
