Very rare 1971 original UK Vertigo 'spiral' label 12-track vinyl debut LP from US rural blues rock combo.

Vinyl has the Side 1 full swirl logo label and the Side 2 label with large 'Swirl' logo only above centre hole and outline company name at bottom label - stressing that this is the original 1st issue.

Vinyl has machine stamped matrix info:

Side 1: 6360038 1Y//1V, stamper 1 1 1
Side 2: 6360038 2Y//1V, stamper 1 1 1

Vinyl is housed in a generic polylined company 'swirl' logo inner sleeve and a matt/non-laminated Howards Printers Hipgnosis design gatefold picture cover.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+(+) (Cover):
Vinyl is in beautifully shiny condition with only the faintest sleeve wear to break the surface - barely any and very light and fine. Perfect labels.
Cover some very minor flaws - very light shelf wear, just a couple of small points of spine edge rubbing, just hints of upper back ringwear - the one a bit more serious defect is a " mid-upper back seamsplit - cover is graded close to near perfect - a very fine copy.
