Scarce original 1972 US Fillmore label 26-track 3-LP box set including bonus 7" documenting the last days of the San Francisco rock & roll mecca the Fillmore West before packing it in on the Forth of July 1971... ending an era in pop music history - absolutely essential performances by bay area cream of the crop: Grateful Dead, Quicksilver, Cold Blood, Santana, Hot Tuna, Tower Of Power and many others..

Vinyls have yellow to orange sunburst labels - with top semi-circular Golden Gate logo on pink background as well as large top capital lettering, white outline black and curved 'Fillmore' logo - otherwise black text.

Vinyls are accompanied by large fold out poster - a reproduction of the concert poster for the final run of shows - as well as 12"x12" 32-page full colour booklet... great liner notes by Bill Graham, an illustrated essay about the Fillmore concert posters, and a listing of every concert at the Fillmore and Fillmore West... and this copy includes the rare ticket, which is almost always missing - everything is kept in a 2-piece card picture box set.
