Scarce 1996 German Warner Bros. Promo CD single of Don’t Cry For Me Argentina including 2 tracks and an unique promo sticker incl. info about the song and Evita in Danish from Warner Music Denmark.

Don’t Cry For Me Argentina was released as the 2nd single from the movie musical Evita in Europe and the UK. It was never supposed to have been a single in the USA, but due to the popular Miami Remixes Warner Bros. decided to release the song as maxi CD and 12” vinyl only.

The single became a huge success around the world peaking inside Top 5 in a lot of countries. It even peaked at no. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs chart. Since no video was made for the single it was decided to use the scene from the movie Evita as a music video.
