Scarce 1996 German Warner Bros. Maxi CD of Don’t Cry For Me Argentina including 4 tracks and an unique promo sticker incl. info about the song and Evita in Danish from Warner Music Denmark.

Don’t Cry For Me Argentina was released as the 2^nd single from the movie musical Evita in Europe and the UK. It was never supposed to have been a single in the USA, but due to the popular Miami Remixes Warner Bros. decided to release the song as maxi CD and 12” vinyl only.

The single became a huge success around the world peaking inside Top 5 in a lot of countries. It even peaked at no. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs chart. Since no video was made for the single it was decided to use the scene from the movie Evita as a music video.
