The Eyes of The Beacon Street Union - 1967 US MGM label 2nd Issue 11-track Stereo LP

Scarce late 1960ies US MGM label LP - the 2nd issue of Boston, Massachusetts, quintets debut album - classic 1960ies slightly garagy and at some times experimental psychedelic rock throughout... apart from a silly Chuck Berry cover version and the competent laid back bluesy Sportin' Life.... some tracks has a slight Seeds tone... Vernon Joynson refers to the album as a "mini-psychedelic masterpiece".

Vinyl has the generic gold and blue swirl label with top circular lion logo - next to large and fat capital letting company name - lower 'MGM Records -A Division Of...'  lower rimprint - sturdy inner pasted gatefold picture cover.

suggesting that the copy was pressed by MGM's New Jersey based manufacturing division.

Condition: VG+(+) (Vinyl and labels)/VG+(+) (Cover):
Vinyl is beautifully lustrous... Side 1 has a couple of very superficial scuffs or marks... otherwise perfect. Mint labels. Vinyl is graded close to near mint/excellent.

Cover has nice centers...no ringwear at all... just a little creasing from front spine from milder bends... and a single superficial crease along back opening.  Spine and seams are almost perfect... a ca 1 cm split torward top-back panel opening... hardly any wear. Opening edges has almost no rubbing... but a couple of slight mid-opening dents.
