Fat Mattress - Original 1969 UK Polydor label 10-track LP

Rare original 1969 UK Polydor Records 10-track LP album - presented with generic red Polydor labels with black & white printing and company name/logo at top label - vinyl is housed in fold-out gatefold laminated picture cover fabricated by MacNeill Press Ltd.

Allmusics Ritchie Unterberger find that album "often like an amalgam of the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Moby Grape, and Love, with some passing nods to British psychedelia by Traffic [...], the Move, and the Small Faces'.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+(+) (Cover):
Vinyl is bright shiny and very nice - seems not to have been played. Not even the slightest paper scuff. Labels are without any spindletraces.

Cover has hardly any edge rubbing creasing - a minor top spine corner dent and the front laminate seems to have shrunk, lifted and bent the top front cover ca 4"´s towards opening - otherwise crisp and clean laminate - otherwise Near Mint. Cover is in the upper VG+ to Excellent area.

Side 1: 583056 A∇ 2 1 1    2 (machine stamped 'B' has been crossed out and replaced with an upside down, handwritten 'A')

Suggesting that the album was pressed by the Chingford/Walthamstow based Phonodisc pressing plant
