Rare original 1968 UK Decca stereo 10-track LP on the generic dark blue and silver printed company labels with:

1a. labels has large unboxed Decca and 'ffss' circle logo on top and 'Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound' silver stripe right above center hole.
1b. copyright information is to the far left of centre hole - matrix info/catalogue number to the far right - publishing year and J/T taxcode at bottom label.
this is as such the first issue - the Decca label used a label for this album which normally was used in the start 1965 - summer 1966 period... afterwards sporadically.

Vinyl has machine stamped matrix info is:
Side 1: XZAL-8476-1K
Side 2: XZAL-8477-1K
this copy is as such from the first batch of albums pressed using the first master matrice - K is the symbol used by mastering engineer Tony Hawkins.

Vinyl is held in a generic era specific protective company inner and outer laminated 'Garrod and lofthouse' gatefold picture sleeve with 'Patents Pending' text.

Condition:VG+(+) (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Cover):
Vinyl is nice close to near perfect with some light and inaudible surface lines and paper scuffs.
Labels has a couple to a handfull of spindlemarks - more pronounced on side 1 than side 2.
Cover is in near perfect condition with only laminate wear - one laminate crease to the far front right and a little laminate shelling on spine from the repeatedly closing ad opening of the gatefold.
