You Stay By The Sea is recorded after returning home to Iceland after attempting to relocate to other towns by the sea like Amsterdam and Brighton - no wonder that the Nettwerk label mentions the search for a place to feel at peace and the sense of refinement and newfound wisdom. Musically the DIY spirit of his earliest recordings is empasized - You Stay By The Sea is produced by Ian Grimble known from his collaborations with The 1975, Daughter and Mumford & Sons.
