Grammy-winning rock band Greta Van Fleet will release their long-awaited third studio album Starcatcher on July 21, 2023.

Starcatcher was written and recorded by the band - lead singer Josh Kizska, guitarist Jake Kizska, bassist/keyboardist Sam Kizska and drummer Danny Wagner - along with Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell). The band recorded the album at legendary RCA Studios in Nashville and used the large room to capture the charismatic energy also known from their world-renowned live performances.

Over the course of the ten songs, the band explores the duality between fantasy and reality and the contrast between light and darkness. They took several concepts from their critically acclaimed second album The Battle at Garden's Gate and brought them into Starcatcher, although Sam's approach to the new record's big ideas now points towards a new beginning. Aided by Dave Cobb, the production aesthetic is also cleaner compared to The Battle at Garden's Gate, allowing the instrumentation to shine in its own right. Occasional organ and keyboard elements almost pop into the mix, adding extra texture and melodrama.
