Hard to get 1990 US Sire/Warner Bros. Maxi CD of Keep It Together including 5 remixes.

Keep It Together is the 5^th and final single released from smash hit album Like A Prayer. The single was only released in USA, Canada and Japan and was planned to include the song Vogue as a B-side. This changed quickly when Madonna’s management listened to Vogue and decided it should be a single on its own. In Europe and most other countries a remix of Keep It Together ended up as the B-side for Vogue.

Keep It Together was written and produced by Madonna and Stephen Bray and deals with Madonna’s relationship with her family.

The single was a commercial success in USA and Canada reaching #8 on the charts. Keep It Together peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Song chart making it Madonna’s 9^th chart topper on this chart.

No official video was ever issued for the single, but Madonna decided to use the song as the closing song on her Blond Ambition World Tour 1990 and later this performance was released as a video,
