The two guitar trios, Uffe Steen Trio & Vestbo Trio, merge into a sextet on a new album!

The collaboration between Uffe Steen Trio & Vestbo Trio is a stellar success! What began as a concert experiment with a double trio has proven extremely viable and has so far offered a string of successful tours and the joint live album "Doppler Effect".

After a 2021 in which both trios have released new albums separately, Uffe Steen Trio & Vestbo Trio are now back with their new album "GROOVES" which will be released 2/9-2022. On the new album, it is clear that the two trios have grown together into one ensemble, which has developed a common musical language, and is determined to give the audience a terrific experience!

"GROOVES" contains 8 tracks: 6 of the tracks were written by Uffe Steen (Track 1,2,4,5,7,8), the other 2 by Vestbo Trio (Track 3,6). The music is arranged by the sextet together, and then they have gone for the magic take, where everything just clicks and the music takes off.

Uffe Steen's latest album "Retroscope" (2021) received rave reviews and presented a trio in absolute top form!

Vestbo Trio's latest album "Reflector" (2021) has been released worldwide in collaboration with DALI. The album is also nominated for a Danish Music Award for Blues Album of the Year.
