50th anniversary high quality reissue of psychedelic R&B-soul bands debut album originally released in 1970 on the Detroit based Westbound label - now a classic and an excersice in dark, dense and slowly rhytmic psychedelic funk beat mixed with searing fuzzy guitars... no wonder that Mojo later hailed Funkadelic as "the best blues-influenced, warped acid rock you're likely to hear" and why Robert Christgau jokingly referred to George Clinton as "someone from Carolina who encountered eternity on LSD and vowed to contain it in a groove" in his Christgau's Record Guide: Rock Albums of the Seventies from 1981.

Presented as an orange 180 gram vinylpressing - housed in a thick card sleeve  displaying the original artwork.
