2018 US Yep Rock label 8-track Limited 10" featuring eight songs performed and recorded by early 1970’s folk singer recorded in Paris and Montreal in 1973 and 1976 ... demos of traditional ballads as well as original songs by Blake.

Born Christiana Elizabeth Wallman April 13, 1952 in Columbus, Georgia, Tia moved to Paris when she was 18 years old, where she learned how to play acoustic guitar and was introduced to Michel Bachelet and Jean-Paul Smets, the owner and A&R manager of record label SFP, who asked her to record her first album - the lost classic album Folksongs and Ballads released in 1971 featuring 11 public domain folk compositions. There was only one live performance in Paris to promote the album's release, and Blake left France later that summer - only to record very scarcely and never to release another album again.

The demos at hand are recorded with fellow expatiate folk musician Jack Treese at Studio Barclay in Paris, 1973, and from a later batch of demos recorded at CBS's studios Studio A in Montreals Cité Du Havre. The songs has been remastered from original tapes - first time on vinyl - limited to 500 copes and released in conjunction with record Store Dau 2018.

Condition: Still Factory Sealed:Unopened and unused - new.
