The ferocious, loud proto-thrash metal fourth album by superior British hard rockers/metallists - recorded August and September 1980, the band were at Jackson's Studios in Rickmansworth - with producer Vic Maile behind the wheel. Reviewer Jason Birchmeier labelled the album "rock-solid, boasting several superlative standouts" and insists it "rightly deserves its legacy as a classic" in his Allmusic Review. The album was - within the true metal sphere - labelled "one of the best metal albums by any band, ever" and a significantly influential "hard rock classic" by the now web based BNR Metal Pagfes and still ranks top 5 in their Readers' Top Albums of 1980
Pressed onto 180 gram vinyl and with intact 1980 artwork - featuring the trio in the desert dressed as cowboys... the 'Arizona desert-style' pictures used on the album was taken at a photosession at a sandpit in Barnet, UK.
