Rare 2010 US Null Corporation label 19-track 2LP set - Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' sublime score for David Fincher's 2010 film featuring two slightly reworked tracks from Nine Inch Nails's Ghosts; the track "Magnetic" reworked from "14 Ghosts II" and "A Familiar Taste" which is a a remixed version of "35 Ghosts IV".

Allmusics Heather Phares wrote that Artful sound design and textural interplay are dead giveaways that Reznor had a hand in this music, as are the carefully chosen motifs: spectral pianos pass through icy and brittle electronics and brush up against corrosive electric guitars, and that the music is Cerebral but with a very real emotional undercurrent... impressive and listenable in its own way. The score won nine major awards - amongst them the 2010 Golden Globe award for Best Original ScoreMotion Picture, and the Academy Award for Best Original Score at the 83rd Academy Awards.

Vinyls are manufactured as heavy, stiff 180 gram vinyl pressings with custom picture labels - housed in a 3-panel fold out picture cover... great artwork by long time associate Rob Sheridan.

Side 4: NULL - 001 - D KPG@ATM

Condition: VG+(+) (Record 1 Vinyl and Labels)/VG+ (Records 2 Vinyl and Labels)/VG+ (Cover):
Vinyl are superbright... have been used drectly from the paper inner sleeves and have subsequently a light degree of sleeve inflicted scuffing. Record 1 has a single or two thin and fine hairlines which might be needle inflicted. Record 2 has a series of marginal pressing imperfections but otherwise just a little sleeve inflicted scuffing - hence the VG+ grading for this record. Labels are perfect. Record 1 is graded close to near mint/excellent,

Vinyl plays fine though... straight and superb dynamics .. plays with a slight crackling during the more quiet motifs... seems unavoidable as these passages are extremely vulnerable.

Cover has a lower opening corner dent but otherwise just hints of inevitable rubbing along upper vinyl outline on front and back of the 1st panel as well as on the back of the 3rd panel... which leans against the 1st. Cover has no wrinkling from edges and very little, superficial creasing.

Seams are intact and straight - corners otherwise extremely nice... right side of the lower spine corner has a touch of rubbing... otherwis perfect... a simply very nice cover - at least uper VG+.
