Rare 1968 US Vanguard Apostolic label 7-track LP - the sole album from early heavy progressive rock band originating from Boston but recorded whilst being based in South Hampton. The Far Cry album has subtle psychedelic textures - a definite jazz influence and excursions into blues. Most tracks has extensive guitar, organ and sax jams. Far Cry ""... along with signature vocal howler Jere Whiting, played rock and roll with a crazed free jazz spirit and a complexity that only desert dwellers like Captain Beefheart were brain-baked enough to try in those days"*.

Vinyl has sky blue labels with black centre printing and green 'bines' motif along pressing ring and label rim - likewise green top company name-logo.

Vinyl is housed in a generic company inner sleeve - ultimately in a back pasted picture cover.

Condition: M- (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Cover)

Vinyl is bright and shiny - has absolutely no signs of play or handling what so ever. Straight mint. Labels are equally neat.

Cover is still in its intact, but opened shrink wrapping - perfect apart from a touch of rubbing in opening corner areas - hardly noticeable. Cover is easily graded near mint - an absolutely stunning copy.
