Rare original 1967 UK Decca 10-track stereo vinyl LP - The Rolling Stones' 6th British album and their most overt outing into the psychedelic realm - featuring the singles "In Another Land" & "She's a Rainbow".

Richie Unterberger discusses the ionevitable comparisons to The Beatles' 'Sgt. Peppers...' album in his AllMusic Review stating: "Many dismiss the record as sub-Sgt. Pepper posturing| others confess, if only in private, to a fascination with the album's inventive arrangements, which incorporated some African rhythms, Mellotrons, and full orchestration. What's clear is that never before or after did the Stones take so many chances in the studio. In 1968, the Stones would go back to the basics, and never wander down these paths again, making this all the more of a fascinating anomaly in the group's discography."

Vinyl has the generic green company labels with unboxed Decca logo, circular top 'ffss' logo and "Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound" banner above center hole.

Vinyl has machine stamped matrix info:
Side 1: ZAL-8126-T2-5K, mother/stamper 2 UK, Taxcode KT
Side 2: ZAL-8127-T2-7K, mother/stamper 1 UM, Taxcode KT

Vinyl is placed in a red psychedelic patterned inner sleeve - ultimately in a gatefold picture cover with '3-D' effect lenticular paste on picture.

Condition: VG+(+) (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Inner Sleeve)/VG++ (Cover):
Vinyl is supremely bright - has been used directly from the inner sleeve and has subsequently a minor degree of fine and light lines from the interaction between sleeve and vinyl.
Labels has 3 pencil track-markings on Side1 and 2 on Side 2 - otherwise near mint with only a very slight degree of spindletraces - looks like less than a couple of handfuls on Side 2 - less on Side 1 - all fairly simple and close to the narrow centre ring except for a couple. Vinyl and labels are overall graded close to near mint/excellent.

Cover is magnificent and has only very marginal imperfection from handling or storage. Cover is overall without laminate wrinkles - none from edges - none along opening. Front cover itself has absolutely no creasing - lenticular image a ca 1 cm light crease in the top left corner - barely noticeable. Back cover has only imprints from removed track markings - markings themselves has been removed.
Front and back colors are fresh, deep and unfaded - inner spread is mint in every way.
Front cover has a few short and thin areas of laminate lift along spine - seems inevitable when you consider the inflexible nature of the laminate and the tension that opening of the cover induces to the spine region. Seams are mint - free from rubbing, spine is perfect, opening without any rubbing as well. Corners are sharp and pointy - without wear or denting. Cover is overall graded near mint.

This is a great copy - great vinyl with only light signs of handling and play - cover is absolutely stunning - hard to come by in any shape, rare in such beautiful condition.
