In our view this is one of last years major Danish releases. Danish musicians, composer and producers work for piano and symphony orchestra - recorded at the Rudolfinum Concert Hall, Prague with The Philharmonic Orchestra of Prague and longtime associate, producer and Gramsespektrum, Pelding, The Prunes, Xtra Naan member Peder (Pedersen) - released late 2015 on the Danish Target label.

Asger Baden is trained pianist from the Copenhagen Rhythmic Music Conservatory - member of the bands Cours Lapin and Malkin Zany - as well 'The Crooked Spoke', remixer and co-writer of Mikael Simpsons 'Slaar Skaar' and 'Noget laant' and composer of numerous scores for documentaries, television and movies. 'Zarniqa' is not really a classical album as such - the orchestral setting is more of a vehicle for Badens film-score esthetics - this time an imaginary and superb one, full of adventurous passages and vignettes, subtle flavours of old Europe atmospheres and romanticism - essential listening.

Vinyl has custom picture labels - held in a picture cover.
