Terry Reid - 1969 UK Columbia label 1 st. Press 9-track Stereo LP

1969 UK Columbia label 9-track stereo LP - British folk and psychedelic rock vocalist and guitarist 2nd album... Reid was the singer, that Yardbirds guitarist Jimmy Page wanted to front his new group - the New Yardbirds, which was to become Led Zeppelin. Reid had already committed to go on the road with Cream though.

Vinyl has the generic black, silver and white printed company labels with top side-lined, boxed 'Columbia/Magic Note logo' and boxed EMI logo at bottom - the 'one-box' label.

Vinyl has machine stamped matrix information:
Side 1: YAX 3950 - 1G, Mother/Stamper 1 A
Side 2: YAX 3951 - 1G, Mother/Stamper 1 R
stressing that this issue is produced from the 1st set of acetates, the 1st set of mothers manufactured and 3rd and 2nd Stamper respectively - placing this copy extremely early in the manufacturing process - within the first few hundreds pressed.

Vinyl is held in a front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. three sided flip back picture cover.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl)/VG+(+) (Labels)/VG++ (Cover):
Vinyl is bright and shiny - has an unusual degree of faint sleeve wear... barely any signs of play or handling.

Side 1 label has a slight tear from the centre ring - graded close to near perfect/excellent condition. Side 2 label has a lower left 3 cm crease.

Labels have otherwise from a couple to 3 or 4 light, superficial and simple spindletraces - labels are overall graded close to near mint/excellent.


Cover is in very close to perfect condition - only the very slightest signs of handling or storage - remarkable clean and easily graded near mint.
