Rare 1962 US Columbia label mono 13-track LP - the 2nd commercial issue of Bob Dylans debut album - pressed with the generic red Columbia 'Guaranteed High Fidelity' label design with top company name and mid-left and right label camera eye logos printed in white - black center and lower label print.

Side 1 label has first track listed above centre hole correctly titled 'You're No Good' and both labels have 'non breakable' text.

Vinyl has machine stamped matrix numbers:
Side 1: XLP-55619-1F P
Side 2: XLP-55620-1E P
The 1st pressing of this album was issue on the generic '6-eye' label from March 19, 1962. Columbia began issuing the album with generic 'Guaranteed High Fidelity' label during the 2nd half of 1962 - a few month later than the 1st commercial pressing.

Allthough this label ran from 2nd half of 1962 until august 1965, we firmly believe this copy to be very early as it has the 1st pressing within the 2nd issue track info. The 'Bob Dylan' album was later issued on the same label with the same track incorrectly titled 'She's No Good'.

Matrix information supports this thought placing this copy coherent with the first pressing as the 1E/1F stampers was manufactured from the first batch of laquers.
This copy was pressed by the Pitman, New Jersey pressing plant.

Vinyl is held in a back pasted picture cover with top left front mono-only format information and catalogue number. Back has top 'This Columbia High Fidelity Recording..." text.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Cover):

Vinyl still retains its original superbly high lustre. Vinyl has almost no signs of play except for a couple of very faint sleeve induced marks - simply astonishing vinyl.

Labels are mint and has no signs of use or handling. Vinyl is overall extremely close to mint.

Cover equals the vinyl conditionwise. A few wrinkles of which only the lower front one is not entirely marginal. Front colours are intact and unfaded - back is incredible clean - as white as when issued and with barely any signs of storage.

Seams are intact and without wear at all - spine perfect, opening unrubbed. Lower spine and upper opening has extremely faint dents - next to nothing.
Corners remains pointy and without rubbing. Cover is graded straight near mint - hard to believe that this copy is more than 50 years old.
