Rare original 1971 US Reprise label 8-track LP - the 2nd album by Jimi hendrix released after hes death - recorded during various sessions and live, engineered, mixed and compiled by Eddie Kramer, John Jansen and Mitch Mitchell. Several on the tracks ended up on the 1997 albums 'South Saturn Delta' and 'First Rays of the New Rising Sun'.

Vinyl has the generic tan steamship logo company labels with boxed orange ':r' logo omitting the lower rim Warner distribution logo - vinyl has handetched matrix information:
Side 1: MS 2040 31260-1 STERLING RL
Side 2: MS 2040 31261-1 1 STERLING RL
all pointing towards an original pressing mastered to vinyl by Robert Ludwig at Sterling Sound, New York, NY.

It is only natural to expect an original pressing in itself to sound better than later ones - preserving the original level of tone, volume and dynamic range from the first transfer from master tape to finished product - adding to this is Robert Ludwig and Lee Hulkos mastering, which - by many - is thought of as more potent, dynamic and superior than later pressings - often referred to as 'Hot Mix''es.

Vinyl is housed in a study inner pasted gatefold picture cover.
