Heavy Metal - Music From The Motion Picture - 1981 US Promotional Issue 2LP

Scarce original 1981 US Full Moon &/ Elektra/Asylum label -track original soundtrack for Canadian sci-fi/fantasy-animated film directed by Gerald Potterton and produced by Ivan Reitman and Leonard Mogel - who also was the publisher of National Lampoon's Heavy Metal magazine on which the movie is based.

Vinyls are auto couple - Side 1 & 4 on Record 1, Side 2 & 3 on Record 2 - and has custom white and black printed promotional labels with circular 'Full Moon' and boxed Asylum logos side-by-side at top label - housed in credits inner sleeves and ultimately in a glossy gold promotional issue stamped gatefold picture cover.

Condition: VG++/VG++ (Record 1 Vinyl and Labels/Inner Sleeve)/VG++/VG+ (Record 2 Vinyl and Labels/Inner Sleeve)/VG+ (Cover):
Vinyls has a touch of sleeve wear - next to nothing - perfect labels.
One inner sleeve has faint signs of handling and tiny mid splits - the other an 1 cm rip from upper opening coupled with larger mid splits.
Cover has some degree of corner dents inflicting wrinkling and a little wear - a very light degree of wrinkling and superficial creasing - a single crease transcends the cover along upper-mid front opening - cover is graded straight VG+.
