In the wake of Poseidon - Original UK Vinyl Pressing

Rare original UK 1970 Island Records 10-track vinyl LP with:

1. Pink "i" labels with white "i" logo and black printing.

2. Matrix numbers are
Side 1: ILPS 9127 A //1, stamper L 3 2
Side B: ILPS 9127 B//1, stamper L 2 2
indicating that this is one of the first copies pressed

3. Vinyl is presented in thick textured card gatefold picture sleeve with company logo and Basing Street address printed on lower mid first side in the gatefold. Gatefold has printed lyrics, cover is manufactured by E. J. Day group.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+ (Cover):

Vinyl is basically in very close to perfect condition - still super shiny and barely touched by the sleeve - a couple of light inaudible marks on Side 2 - otherwise only just a touch of sleeve wear.
Labels has less than a handfull of spindlemarks in the imediate centrehole perimeter - all this indicating that this copy was ever only played played very little and handled well when so.

Gatefold picture sleeve is in straight upper VG+ condition with close to perfect front and back - just hints of wear and a tiny dottet tear on lower right back - otherwise intact seams with only light shelf wear and barely any edge wear, light dents to lower corners and a little wear to corners overall - a fine copy at an advantageous price.

Playgrading:
Vinyl sounds amazing - plays and tracks straight. Wonderful dynamics, finely differentiated instruments, no distortion - only faint crackling in the quiet or soundless bits - faint as in barely any.
