Little Free Rock - Original UK Vinyl Issue

Rare original UK 9-track Transatlantic label vinyl LP from ex-David John and The Mood - grand guitar dominated hard rock with some really fine organ-work and occasional hard-prog-rock elements.

Vinyl has the generic white company labels with centered and boxed purple company logo - purple rimprint, otherwise black printing.

Label has thin, superficial label ridge close to centre hole and label level-rise ca 2 cm from label rim.

Vinyl has machine stamped matrix info a 6 o'clock:
Side 1: STRA 208-A1
Side 2: STRA 208-B1

Vinyl is housed in a fully laminated MacNeil Press single pocket picture cover.

Vinyl: Very Good, VG:

Vinyl has some light and not so light marks which all ecept for a single 5 mm mark are inaudible.

Labels: Near perfect, VG++:
Labels has a light degree of spindlemarks - hardly visible.

Cover: Very God Plus, VG+:
Front coverhas a series of light to semi-light flaws: some light wrinkles along opening and from spine - a couple more pronounced upper right corner and lower mid-right bend inducing wrinkling - some of these are followed by small or thin areas of laminate lift.
Front has a tin discontinued line of laminate lift along spine and light corner dents/wear.
Back cover has a lighter degree of bends/wrinkling and laminate lift along spine.
Seams are intact - spine clear and readable withOUT shelling, colours still deep and fresh - as such a very and enjoyable fine cover without being perfect.

Playgrading:
Vinyl tracks straight and plays without skipping - a couple of short and deep marks towards the end of side 1 induces less than 10 clicks.
Vinyl plays with light to some crackling which drowns in the loud passages but are present in the soundless, quiet or relatively low passages.
Music transcends however with geart sound, full dynamics and clearly differentiable instruments - without distortion - a fine album if you want to taste the sound of the original pressing.
