'Jonas Munk, studies and lives in Odense, Denmark.
Just out of his teens, you could easily think he is new in writing and playing music, but more than 8 years ago he was already involved in music - hard-rock that is! Since then Jonas and his friends have moved towards something more drifting.Most people would choose the term post-rock about their sound when they all get together as the band Limp ( signed to Morr Music with the first EP "Orion".
When Jonas produce as Manual he keeps elements from that symphonic and big reverb sound, but uses more clicks and tricky beats to accompany the almost romantic melodies. A bit less minimal than most of the other Hobby releases, but still with fresh ideas to surprise you.
Besides his debut ep through and for Hobby, Manual has released the "Until Tomorrow" and "Ascend" albums through Morr Music, a 7" on Static Caravan.
A collaboration album with US project Icebreaker International will released summer 2003 through Morr Music... the same label for which he produced one of the best covers from the Slowdive tribute compilation.'
