Brats was a Danish band from Copenhagen formed in 1977 as a punk band. After recording the songs "Dreams", "I Do What I Wanna Do" and "Magazine" for Danish Pære Punk compilation, the band split up in 1979, not much later reforming as a heavy metal band (playing a hybrid of punk and metal) with new members. This line-up signed a contract with CBS in 1980 and released the promotional debut single B-Brains and one self-titled full length LP. The band later evolved into the (non-punkish) legendary pure heavy metal band Mercyful Fate with King Diamond as frontman.

16 unreleased demo studio recordings recorded during the summer of 1979 at the '2 Trin Ned Studie' in Copenhagen and originally intended as an Irmgardz release, then shelved as the band signed to CBS instead and recorded the legendary '1980' LP... and finally unearthed again 31 years later by Danish indie label Arg! in late 2008. These tracks are primal end 1970ies riff punk...

Printed insert included, with pictures, lyrics, and biography of the band. 500 copies pressed.
