2009 reissue of the great third studio album by the Canadian singer/songwriter - originally released just around the corner of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Youngs chart-topping 1970 album Déjà Vu - inspired by the Dean Stockwell-Herb Bermann screenplay 'After the Gold Rush' - mainly a country folk album recorded with Crazy Horse members Ralph Milina, Billy Talbot and Danny Whitten as well as a vibrant 18 year old Nils Lofgren on guitar and Jack Nitzche on piano. After the Goldrush featuring the rocking 'Southern Man' -. as well as the singles 'Only Love Can Break Your Heart' and 'When You Dance I Can Really Love'.
The album is remastered from the original analog master tapes - Because Sound Matters, as the sticker informs - and pressed onto 180 gram vinyl - packed in a sturdy gatefold picture cover - complete with foldout lyric poster.
