|Additional info||Rare original 1971 Danish Sonet label 7-track LP - the 4rth from danish progressive jazz influenced rock ensemble... that is counting the Dissing collaboration '6 elefantskovcikadeviser' - lyrically concerned with 'Rowenas' journey 'from her kitchen in Croydon' to the 'mysterious land of Kaske' - musically ambitious and more experimental than other releases by the band - has been compared to the music Vogel did with his later band Secret Oyster. |
Vinyl has the generic two colour dark red and orange Sonet labels with centered trumpet logo - housed in a gatefold picture sleeve.
Vinyl has machine stamped matrix info:
Side 1: 2310145 A//1V420 1 2 04
Side 2: 1 2310145 B//1V420 1 2 04
suggesting that this copy was manufactured by the Chingford, UK, based Phonodisc pressing plant - from the first mastering, the first set of mothers, 2nd stampers.
Vinyl is housed in a very slightly glossy gatefold picture cover.
Condition: VG+ (Vinyl and Labels/ VG++ (Cover):
Vinyl has a couple of light and far from audible surface lines - some degree of superfine and extremely light sleeve scuffing as well - overall graded VG+.
Labels are almost without signs of play or handling - graded near mint.
Vinyl plays great - straight and with very little noise and absolutely no clicks - with a really fine sound - great dynamics and volume, instruments easily differentiable - a play grading would be close to near mint.
Cover is nice - unusually nice front and back cover centers -a little wrinkling from back edges - perfect inner spread.
Seams are perfectly intact - a thin line down the spine shows that the cover has been opened and enjoyed - seams and edges are without wear or rubbing.
Lower opening corner has a little light rubbing - otherwise pointy and at least near perfect corners. Hard to find this cover in such a nice condition - graded near mint.
