'Paradieswärts Düül' was labelled '...a visionary slice of acid-folk which has gained cult status as years passed by. Ritualistic folk-rock, pastoral hippie songs, stoned jams, Eastern flavors, mystical passages and heavy hypnotic riffing which are in fact very different from the early Amon Düül epic freaked-out improvisations (Psychedelic Underground) or Amon Düül II complex and psyched-up progressive works (Phallus Dei). These were in fact archival recordings done by a different incarnation of Amon Duul, one that combined members of both factions into a floating line up welcoming many a guest...' when issue by the Barcelona based Wah Wah label.
Vinyl has genric company labels with 'ear' motif. Side 2 label has the 5 digit catalogue number.
Vinyl is housed in a fully laminated picture cover. Both cover and label have the five digit numbers, confirming this is a first pressing.
Condition: VG+(+) (Vinyl and Labels)/VG (Cover):
Vinyl is bright and shiny - has been used directly from the paper inner sleeve and has as such a very light degree of fine, light and far from audible sleeve wear - possibly a single or two very light needle inflicted lines - vinyl is in itself graded close to near mint/excellent.
Labels have hardly any signs of handling or play - a single fine, simple and superficial spindletrace on Side label - nothing to Side 1 label. Labels are easily near mint.
Front and back copver centers are actually very nice - light to pronounced wear and creasing to laminate - aspecialy along lower front vinyl outline. Cover has a quite few smaller and a single longer wrinkle from edges.
A brownish discolouration has crept under the laminate along front opening edge and a couple of inches along top spine.
Seams are nice and intact even though laminate is rubbed ca. 1/2" and has shelled in a couple of points on top seam - lower seam is almost flawless, slightly pressurized spine easily readable, openingh edges has very slight dents and just faint rubbing.
Lower and spine corners are more manifestly rubbed, top opening corner more pointy.
All in all a cover which has a series of milder and a couple of not so marginal imperfections - stil highly enjoyable even though it is not for the discerning collector - graded straight VG.
