|Catalogue no||2408 102|
|Year of release||1971|

|Additional info||Scarce original 1971 Scandinavian distributed Polydor label 9-track LP - their 5th album setting new standards for hard rock and incorporating the ARP synthesizer as an integral part of their sound - particularly on singles "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "Baba O'Riley".|
Vinyl has the generic red company labels with top labels 'half album' logo above thin, medium size company name in white.
Labels has Scandinavian copyright information and 'Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft M.B.H. Hamburg' rimprint and an area of slight label perimeter rise.
Vinyl has handetched (he) and machine stamped (ms) matrix information:
Side 1: MR 12888 2408 102 A (he - 12888 is =='ed out)
Side 2: 24 08 102 B P71 9 ENGL (ms)
Matrix information does not appear to be related to normal Norwegian or West German standards - as expressed when pressed for the Scandinavian market by the Norwegian Phonogram or through the West German Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft Pressing plants.
Vinyl is housed in an era specific company add inner sleeve fabricated by Team Trykk, Oslo, ultimately in a glossy picture cover. One must assume that this is a copy pressed in Norway.
Condition: VG+ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+ (Cover):
Vinyl is bright and shiny - has been used directly from the paper inner sleeve and has as such some degree of fine, light and inaudible sleeve wear - none of the marks are deep, but a very few could be needle drops.
Labels have almost no signs of play or handling and is graded near mint - vinyl is overall VG+.
Cover has a little superficial wear to outer laminate along vinyl outline - affection the shine of the cover only - not transcending to the cover beneath the laminate.
Cover displays a few wrinkles from edges - a longer one from lower seam close to spine - and front cover has a few thumbnail marks along opening.
Seams are very close to perfect - spine easily readable - opening edges almost without rubbing. Corners has only very slight wear - opening corners are lightly dented - all in all a very nice VG+ cover.
