|Additional info||1989 UK pressed CBS label 12-track LP - eccentric Manhatten, New York, born r&b fueled rock & pop singer & songwriters 2nd album labelled "... sprawling, overly ambitious work that incorporates Middle Eastern flavorings and even more of a gospel influence into his gritty mix of rock, R&B, and funk." by Allmusics Tom Demalon.|
Vinyl has custom Side 1 'Jolly Roger' motif picture label and Side 2 illustrated tracklisting label - has A1/B2 matrix endings and is accompanied by ca 11" square 12-page illustrated lyric and credits booklet - housed in a picture inner sleeve - ultimately in a spot lacquered picture cover.
Condition: VG+(+) (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Inner Sleeve)/VG+(+):
Vinyl is bright and shiny - has been used directly from the paper inner sleeve and has a little inevitable sleeve inflicted wear... a little too much for a near mint grading.
Side 1 label has a couple of short, simple and faint spindtraces - Side 2 label has no indications of play or handling.
Vinyl is overall graded close to near mint/excellent.
Inner sleeve has light inevitable vinyl outline, but is otherwise extremely nice - easily graded near mint.
Picture cover has extremely close to perfect front and back cover centers - a touch of very light wrinkling transcends from spine and top seam - hardly any creasing.
Cover displays hints of discontinued spots or points of edge rubbing - more continuous so to opening edges. Corners have light and marginal rubbing - cover is overall graded close to near mint/excellent.
